Victoria
So Vicki is my bestest friend in the whole world. She knows me like butter knows bread...(those are her exact words). She can always me laugh anytime no matter what I am feeling at the moment. She is like a cool breeze on a very very hot summer afternoon. She makes me happy like when a monkey gets a banana!!!!! :) She may hate me at times, but always gets over it!! She is the one of the things in my life that I can always count on. Me and her are like two peas in a pod!!! I love you Vicki! Thanks for being my bestest friend!

Funny story
So I am doing my student teaching right now and it is super fun! It keeps me busy, which I love. I have to be at the school at 7:30 and then I leave at 4:00, so I am there all day! From there I go to work till 5:00. I get home around 5:30 and then I plan lessons for the next day. I love the class that I am in. I am in a first grade class, there are 27 students who keep me on my toes. They always make me smile at least once a day!
So the other day, we were reviewing for a quiz we were going to take on the water cycle. I was asking the students what its called when the water goes up into the cloud (I was looking for the answer of condensation) One little boy whom I absolutely adore was talking with his neighbor so I called on him to answer the question. I said "what is it called when the water goes into the cloud?" he said in a 'matter of fact' tone "well its called constipation". I was trying so hard not to laugh. I quickly corrected him and went on. Afterwards I was talking with my cooperating teacher and we were both laughing about it. Something like this happens about once a day when you are with 27 first graders!!!

The Holidays
So I recently got the opportunity to go to "The Forgotten Christmas Carols", and can I just say it was amazing! I had gone before, but I didn't really remember it. I love the music and the message that the performance portrays. At the very end they have everyone link arms and sing "We will be together forever someday". At first everyone is shy and its barely audible, but then as we go on it gets louder and louder. The star of the play, Micheal McLean has everyone picks someone who could not be with them that night and sing to them. I thought of Madalyn and i decided to sing to her. Around this time of year I miss her more then ever before and i didn't think that was possible. There are little things that make me think of her, ever though I only knew her for a short time. I think of her when I look outside and snow is gently falling to the ground. I think of her when the sun is shinning just right through my window. I think of her when ever I see someone drinking a Pepsi. I think of her whenever I look at the many pictures I have of her. I think of her whenever I think of my Aunt Karleen. I think of her whenever I am having a bad day and may day always gets better. I love this time of year and my heart hurts that Madalyn could not be with us this year, but then I think of her in heaven with Jesus and I feel better. I know that part of her is always with me. I treasure the moments that we had together. I think back to when Trish and Terrell asked me to help them out. I remember thinking, how am I going to do this! But when I decided that I could sacrifice a little of my time to help them out the blessings came pouring in. I got to form a bond with that family that I would have never formed otherwise. I got to be part of their lives and I will never those that. It just goes to show that serving someone else will brighten your day!!!

New to this!
So I am going to try out this blogging thing. It might be kinda boring, because my life is not that exciting, but I will try my best to spice it up.
It is getting closer and closer to end of the semester. I have had so many assignments due the past week and still more to come the next week. But amazingly I am staying on top of them. I had lots of help from my friends in my cohort...thank goodness that I have them or I would not survive. I am getting more and more nervous/excited for student teaching. I am nervous in the fact that I am going to be in charge of 27 first graders for ten weeks and excited because I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am almost there!
Its almost Christmas and I can't wait to give the presents I bought to everyone. I love Christmas because its so exciting to give things to people and don't get me wrong I love to partake of the gifts also.
