The Holidays

So I recently got the opportunity to go to "The Forgotten Christmas Carols", and can I just say it was amazing! I had gone before, but I didn't really remember it. I love the music and the message that the performance portrays. At the very end they have everyone link arms and sing "We will be together forever someday". At first everyone is shy and its barely audible, but then as we go on it gets louder and louder. The star of the play, Micheal McLean has everyone picks someone who could not be with them that night and sing to them. I thought of Madalyn and i decided to sing to her. Around this time of year I miss her more then ever before and i didn't think that was possible. There are little things that make me think of her, ever though I only knew her for a short time. I think of her when I look outside and snow is gently falling to the ground. I think of her when the sun is shinning just right through my window. I think of her when ever I see someone drinking a Pepsi. I think of her whenever I look at the many pictures I have of her. I think of her whenever I think of my Aunt Karleen. I think of her whenever I am having a bad day and may day always gets better. I love this time of year and my heart hurts that Madalyn could not be with us this year, but then I think of her in heaven with Jesus and I feel better. I know that part of her is always with me. I treasure the moments that we had together. I think back to when Trish and Terrell asked me to help them out. I remember thinking, how am I going to do this! But when I decided that I could sacrifice a little of my time to help them out the blessings came pouring in. I got to form a bond with that family that I would have never formed otherwise. I got to be part of their lives and I will never those that. It just goes to show that serving someone else will brighten your day!!!
